Relevant Legal Terminology:

Restrictive Covenant - one or more provisions within an employment contract which seek to impose significant limitations on the employee's rights (for ex., not to compete with the employer or disclose information learned during employment) following a termination of the employment relationship. Such restrictions must be narrowly tailored, are subject to "strict scrutiny", and will be voided if they impose an unreasonable restraint of trade on the employee.
